This whip has a staghorn handle.
There is a crown shaped brass gatepusher on top of the handle.

There is a screw in the back of the handle,
It has a silver collar which is hallmarked London 1924
There are several small dents in the collar.
The stock or shaft is covered in braided leather.

There is an old bound repair under the collar.
It has its original stitched keeper or tongue and a  braided leather thong with a cord lash.

There is a bound repair at the end of the thong.
