A pair of steel South American spurs with large rowels.

These are in excavated condition with a dark pitted surface and crusting around the centres of the rowels . Please look at the images.
The ends of the heel bands of the spurs have two slots for straps and are decorated with lines of "beads" in a white metal - probably a nickel alloy
There is also beading where the necks join the bodies of the spurs, although some of the beads are missing.

The necks have pierced decoration with some nickel or alpacca overlay.
They have large many pointed steel rowels which show surface oxidation and crusting.
