NOW® Chitosan  is a polysaccharide derived from shellfish that can bind to fat and cholesterol in the digestive tract, which helps keep cholesterol levels already within a healthy range. NOW® Chitosan contains LipoSan ULTRA®, a patented high-density chitose. In laboratory tests, it binds up to five times more fat than conventional chitosan. Chromium is a mineral necessary for normal glucose metabolism. Moreover, it contributes to maintaining the proper metabolism of macronutrients.

Ingredients:  Chitosan; chromium – chromium picolinate; capsule material – cellulose derivative; subst. filling – rice flour; subst. anti-caking – stearic acid; carrier – amorphous silica.

Contains: crustaceans (shrimp). No allergens or ingredients were used in the production process: wheat, gluten, soy, milk, eggs, fish, nuts. Manufactured in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility that processes ingredients of other products containing these allergens.

How to use:  Take 3 capsules up to 2 times a day, before the main meals of the day. The preparation should not be used 4 hours before and after taking fat-soluble vitamins (i.e. A, D, E, K) or any medications. It should be used in conjunction with an appropriate diet and exercise program. Do not exceed recommended servings for consumption during the day.
