Tomahawks. Crossed Muskets. Oklahoma’s Own.
This premium 15oz black ceramic mug honors the soldiers of the 179th Infantry Regiment — the Tomahawks of the Oklahoma Army National Guard (OKARNG) — featuring the Infantry Branch insignia, the crossed muskets that represent the Queen of Battle and the oldest combat arm of the United States Army.
The 179th Infantry Regiment “Tomahawks” is the sole active regiment of its lineage, with the 1st Battalion organized as a combined arms battalion and serving as an organic element of the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team — the Thunderbirds of the Oklahoma Army National Guard. The 45th Infantry Brigade’s combat legacy spans from World War II through Korea and into the Global War on Terrorism — one of the most decorated National Guard formations in American history. The 179th Tomahawks carry that legacy forward, training and standing ready to answer the call of the state of Oklahoma and the nation.
The Infantry Branch crossed muskets on this mug represent the branch that closes with and destroys the enemy — the branch that every Tomahawk soldier is proud to serve in. This mug is a tribute to the Oklahoma Guardsmen who wore the crossed muskets and served in the 179th Infantry.
Note: Black print on black mug may differ slightly in tones — use transparent background designs for best contrast.
Tomahawks. Crossed muskets. Oklahoma Infantry. Always ready to serve.
