Directions for Topical Use: Dilute Peppermint essential oil (2-3%) with a carrier oil before topical application to minimize any skin sensitivity.
1. Aromatherapy: Add a few drops of peppermint oil to a diffuser or oil burner. Inhale directly or place drops on a tissue to refresh the mind, ease headaches, and relieve nasal congestion. Peppermint essential oil can be used as a standalone product or mixed with other essential oils to create essential oil blends.
2. Skincare: Dilute 2–5 drops in a teaspoon of carrier oil and apply topically to soothe itchiness, irritation, or blemishes. Perform a patch test prior to use.
3. Hair & Beard Care: Massage diluted peppermint oil into the scalp or beard. Leave on for 15–30 minutes before rinsing. Can be added to shampoo, conditioner, or beard oil to reduce hair fall and refresh the scalp.
4. Pain Relief (Massage): Blend with carrier oil and massage onto sore muscles or temples to relieve tension, cramps, and aches. Add to warm bathwater with Epsom salt for full-body relaxation.
5. Respiratory Support (Steam Inhalation): Add a few drops to hot water and inhale the steam deeply to clear congestion and relieve sinus pressure. Ideal during colds and allergy flare-ups.
6. Natural Cleaning: Mix with water, vinegar, or alcohol (5–20% dilution) and use for cleaning household surfaces. Adds a crisp, clean scent while acting as an antimicrobial agent.
7. Pest Repellent: Combine 2 tsp peppermint oil with 1 cup of water or rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle. Spray along entry points or areas where rodents or insects are active.
