Optimize your back-of-house operations with this Hoshizaki Steelheart B Series SR48B-18MD2 48" 2 drawer 1 door stainless steel refrigerated sandwich prep table. Whether you need to streamline service in a cafeteria, sub shop, or independent restaurant, this heavy-duty, stainless steel unit is made to facilitate the sandwich or salad prep process. The mega top holds up to (18) 1/6 size food pans, 4" deep, and it comes with a full set of polycarbonate plastic pans to get you started. The pan rail can also accept 6" deep pans (sold separately).

The refrigerated pan rail is great for holding common sandwich or salad toppings, from hard boiled eggs and cheese to green peppers and ham. It even has a removable stainless steel guard that streamlines the cleanup process at the end of a shift. Plus, a lift-up cover encloses the top to maintain proper food safe temperatures and prevent contamination. For added convenience, a 48" x 10", 1/2" thick polyethylene cutting board is provided for slicing ingredients and assembling orders.

Beneath the worktop is additional storage space. The two pull-out drawers have heavy-duty frames, 16-gauge slides, and acetal rollers for convenient cold storage. Each drawer accommodates 6" deep food pans and can hold (1) 1/2 size pan and (1) 1/3 size pan, while the top drawer can also accommodate (1) 1/4 size pan and (1) 1/6 size pan in the rear. This unit also features a self-closing door with a high-grade stainless steel exterior and an ABS interior liner. The door is spring-assisted with a 90 degree stay-open feature to easily load and unload product and has a magnetic gasket to reduce temperature loss. This gasket is protected by a "stepped" door design and is removable for cleaning. The doors and drawers each feature an extruded aluminum, flush-mounted handle to ensure easy access to product.

This refrigerator is tested to perform in ambient temperatures of 100 degrees Fahrenheit and consistently maintains food-safe NSF-7 temperatures for efficient operation. This model has an innovative air flow design that helps to ensure even cooling in every part of the cabinet. The cabinet, doors, and drawers have 2" thick CFC-free, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation, and the 1/5 hp refrigeration system runs on eco-friendly R290 refrigerant, making it an environmentally responsible choice for your business.

One 21 1/4" x 16" epoxy-coated shelf is included to organize product and is adjustable in 1/2" increments to best fit your needs. This prep refrigerator also boasts an E-coated evaporator coil and hot gas condensate removal system, ensuring that humidity is always removed from the unit. For optimal performance, this unit comes with 6" casters, 2 with brakes, and requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.
