Perfect for Spring, this beautiful Tulips Mould from Iron Orchid Designs was inspired by an 1838 pencil sketch sourced from Paris. The tulips are designed to work as a full bouquet or as individual blooms, with large bloom heads that can stand alone and stems that are easy to extend in your projects.

The petals have an organic sense of movement drawn from the vintage reference, and the leaves feature the detailed veining and natural curl you expect from our IOD moulds. With multiple elements, you can build so many arrangements. The tulips would look beautiful layered up inside one of our arched or oval wood blanks or could be used for Easter signage paired with our Spring Garden or Les Lapin Moulds.

Iron Orchid Designs Moulds are made from food safe materials (do not use the same set for food and crafts), and can be used to transform and create baked goods, furniture  appliques and moulds, soaps, jewellery, and just about anything you can think of.

Different Mediums - IOD moulds can be used with many different mediums such as Air Dry Clay and Casting Resin.

Expect shrinking, warping and cracking when using Air Dry Clay which adds an authentically vintage and distressed look to your projects. Remove from the mould when still moist and adhere it in place. For vertical application use a piece of low tack tape to keep your moulding in place. Dust mould with cornflour before use to aid release.

Casting Resins produce consistent mouldings without shrinking, warping or cracking. The mouldings can be used on a curved surface if removed from the mould before it has completely hardened.
