I love an old carved old shoe or boot, and even better to have a pair--with heels! Hollowed out inside, these I believe were carved of walnut and made to use as vesta (match holders), and I think they likely date to the 19th century. Very nicely carved and super sculptural, as if there were feet squeezed inside!

Not tiny: each measures approx 3 3/4" t x 2 3/4" l x 1 3/16: w. Very good condition, with one tiny nick along the edge of the toe on one of them, as pictured, minor. They stand up perfectly straight, and also flipped upside down!
