The Flomatic 4051EVFD 1" 80BEVFD - ENVIRO CHECK® Unleaded Bronze Check Valve can handle pressures to 400 psi and temperatures up to 180°F (80°C). 

80BEVFD - ENVIRO CHECK^® body casting unleaded bronze with two drilled and tapped holes; 1/8" inlet side and 1/4" outlet side. This valve features a non-spin acetal (3/4"- 2") or unleaded bronze (2 1/2"- 4") poppet, NITRILE (Buna-N) seal and stainless steel spring.

Operation: Flomatic Model 80E-VFD & 100E-VFD series Enviro Check® valves are designed to provide years of trouble free operation without maintenance when properly sized and installed in an appropriately selected pumping application, in regards to flow and maximum system pressures.

Construction: The Flomatic check valve body is constructed to handle the rated system flow and pressures as stated, and to support the combined weight of the submersible pump, pipe, and the water in the riser pipe. In addition, the valves are uniquely designed to mitigate some of the hydraulic water shocks associated with well water pumping when the following check valve installation instructions are adhered to.

Engineered to perform from the inside-out, Flomatic’s patented Variable Flow Demand (VFD) check valves are uniquely manufactured for long service life and consistent operation across a very wide range of flow rates to meet the high demand of VFD systems. Flomatic’s VFD check valves feature high-strength internals including a poppet guide, bushing, and a radius valve seal.

Flomatic has 85 years’ experience designing and manufacturing valve products. The new Model 80EVFD & 100EVFD, like the Model 80DI/SS VFD, are designed to minimize flow loss and hydraulic shocks in the pumping system. The standard unleaded bronze body or optional Stainless Steel or epoxy coated (NSF approved powder) ductile iron body are designed to support submersible pumps set deep in a well-water casing. Its unique hydraulic custom molded Buna-N rubber sealing surfaces are supported by a mechanical back-up support to maximize the check valve service life. The patented spring loaded poppet system is guided in a generous seat bore. The unique patented poppet system (all Stainless Steel in larger sizes and optional in the smaller sizes) insures that the valve is noiseless during operation and automatically closes tight after each pump cycle. The tapered seat allows a self-cleaning “one point swiping action” by the radius-edged rubber seal during each valve closing cycle. All internal parts are made from corrosion resistant material.
