The Islaw Mini may be small in size, but it carries a world of warmth and meaning. Inspired by treasured memories of my grandmother, who would gift us a "taka" horse paper mache after church, this piece is a heartfelt tribute to her and to the faith she helped instill in me. Creating this bag felt like a beautiful return to those moments, and it’s been an honor to craft it alongside our partners: the Bagobo Tagabawa Community, the talented weavers of Abra, the Cane Weavers of Cavite, and the master bag crafters of Bulacan.
