For nostalgia have this Fokker F-27 Friendship operated by NLM CityHopper on your wall. The plane was named ‘Jan Moll’. See it taking off from Schiphol Airport, The Netherlands in the 1970s-1980s.
The Fokker F-27 Friendship was designed in 1954 by chief engineer Cees van Meerten to replace the Douglas DC-3. With 793 aircraft sold, the Friendship was the most successful West-European turboprop passenger aircraft. Later on, the ATR72 surpassed the Fokker. The F-27 was built in the United Stated by Fairchild.
