SPECIFICATIONS:

The 7 Hook Rescue Tool / Strap Cutter was designed for a variety of emergency utility situations. The Handle is elongated for reaching tight places in addition to supplying more stability in your grip. The rounded end of the hook provides safety from contact with the skin while the edge on the 440C blade stainless steel (58-60HRC) slices through seat belts, netting and clothing with ease. The Handle is covered in a black PVC coating that adds durability and grip. The steel is highly corrosion resistant so you will never have to worry about protecting it from the elements.

This is one of those items that should be in every vehicle, boat and back pocket because you never know when trouble may strike. Luckily the 7 Hook is small enough to carry and store almost anywhere. Hang it around your neck, attach it to your belt, store it in your glove box or simply keep it in your pocket. One thing is for sure; you should always keep one nearby.

Troop / Safety - Individual troops use it as a strap cutter to help egress from vehicles after roll-overs, I.E.D.s, etc. They use it to cut seat belts, uniforms, and any other gear that gets hooked up inside a vehicle. Also useful for cargo webbing, shrink wrap, cardboard boxes etc.

Medical - Corpsmen use it to remove clothing, boots, vests and gear from wounded Marines for initial evaluation and immediate treatment of injuries. Also ideal for cutting bandaging, medical tubing, casts, etc.

Airborne - Airborne use it as a cut-away tool during parachute malfunctions or when they have a line-over during a jump.

Military Police - MP's, or anyone who has detainees, use it as a tool to remove flex-cuffs. It provides a safe alternative to using a fixed blade or folding knife, which could cut the detainee or be taken and used as a weapon against the MP.
