The Tatara Masamune Closed Comb Razor is an exclusive Shaver, created for those who want an exceptional shaving experience. As the first model from Tatara, Masamune combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design and precision technology.

The razor is CNC turned from one solid piece of stainless steel with a tolerance down to 0.02 mm - an impressive precision that ensures that all parts fit perfectly and that the blade is always mounted evenly and stably. The dark finish gives a masculine and refined look that supports the luxurious character of the razor.

Masamune is known for its gentle and efficient shave. With a blade gap of 0.63 mm and a blade exposure of -0.13 mm, this Shaver is ideal for those with sensitive skin or those who want a smooth shave without irritation. The closed base plate is equipped with fine grooves that provide extra protection and guide the blade safely over the skin.

The weight and balance of the razor allows you to let it glide naturally over the skin - the weight does the work for you while you have full control. At the same time, the design is optimized to reduce blade chatter, so you avoid vibrations and get a smooth and comfortable shave.

If you want a different shaving aggressiveness, the blade exposure can be customized by combining the razor with a Nodachi Top Plate and changing it to 0.0 mm.

This version is made of dark stainless steel and is also available in a matte version if you prefer a lighter look.
