Historia Urologiae Europaeae series is addressed to all European urologists. Its aim is to make known the ideas and the work of our predecessors, and to help us understand the current trends in the development of our specialty.

The 17th volume of the series is dedicated to the 25th Anniversary EAU Congress, a milestone meeting of the association. “De Historia” is now a modern-looking edition with interesting new solutions and room for creativity. The 17th volume looks into the origins of the Reverdin needle, the history of Fournier’s gangrene, the Pattison fascia and many other urological topics with an exciting historical background.
