This wonderful carved lion appears quite majestic, and as if nothing at all could phase her. I love the detailed carving on the mane and tail, and those great rounded ears and big front paws--and also how she appears to be keeping a close watch on things even while seeming luxuriously relaxed.

It appears the maker signed their name on the underside but I cannot read it. It definitely has some age, and at 7 5/8" long x 2 3/4" wide x 2 1/2" tall, is plenty large to command a shelf!  Great vintage condition.
