Available is an absolutely amazing playing and sounding 1952 Gibson ES-175. This Gibson has been professionally re-fretted with medium height modern fret wire like you would find on a Gibson-Custom reissue today. It is currently setup with a low 3 & 4 64ths action high E to Low E when measured at the 12th fret and is setup with a set of 10-46 gauge strings. The neck is very strait with the proper amount of relief. The truss rod is working properly.

The P-90 is original to this guitar and the bridge also appears to be original. There are three repaired and fully stabilized cracks which were also very professionally fixed. Some slight finish touch up work to the lacquer near the repaired cracks may have been done at some point. One crack is on the bass side of the body, one is on the treble side of the body and one is near the input jack. The strap button has also been moved to the heal position and the original hole for the strap button has been sealed up. The binding is in very good condition and is fully intact. The guard appears to be original and the knobs are period correct and true vintage Gibson knobs from the early 1950's. Tuners are original. We did not take the guitar apart to see if the pots are original as this ES-175 is currently setup so well that we wouldn't want to risk messing with it. This is a true players piece ready for the stage right out of its original case.

Last thing to mention is that this ES-175 was once fitted with a vintage Bigsby B-3. The holes were never filled and the vintage vibrato comes included in this sale. By the looks of it, the Bigsby was likely built during the 1960’s. See last few photos.
