If you’re facility is lacking in available floor space, but you need a heavy-duty lifting solution such as a jib crane, HSI’s Tie Rod Style models can be easily mounted on walls and columns, anywhere across your workplace.

Primarily designed for use in bays, along walkways, and in work cells, the heavy-duty tie rod style jib crane is similar to the cantilever style models but is more economical for scenarios where headroom is not an issue.

This particular model has a working load limit of 2000lbs and is available in spans up to 20ft* as standard. Designed to provide 180-degree rotation as standard, courtesy of the heavy-duty cast iron fittings with smooth roller bearings, HSI’s Model 311 range has many benefits over the Cantilever Style:

• More economical
• Less beam deflection
• Smaller beam size
• Easier rotation in larger applications
• Hook travel closer to mounting column
• Easier adjustment of boom tip 

All Cranes manufactured by HSI have a design factor of 15% of the allowable capacity for hoist weight and 25% of the allowable capacity for impact.

Additionally, all designs meet AISC standards, all cranes are in accordance with OSHA 1910.179, and all designing and manufacturing is done in accordance to ANSI B31.11.
