With the Astronomik UHC filter, you’ll see more stars and details in deep-sky objects than with filters from other manufacturers. It transmits nearly 100% of the O-III and H-beta lines, making it perfect for revealing details in gas and planetary nebulae by filtering out unwanted light pollution.

Main Use

Astronomik UHC filters bring better deep-sky views, even with small telescopes. Optimized for f/4 to f/15 focal ratios, they offer high transmission without color distortion, delivering sharp stars, especially in nebulae observations. This filter works well with scopes as small as 50mm aperture.

Suitability

• Visual observation (dark skies): Excellent for all telescopes
• Visual observation (urban skies): Excellent for telescopes from 100mm aperture
• CCD photography: Great when used with an additional IR-block filter
• DSLR photography (astro modified): Very good with near-perfect color balance
