This late 1930s or early 1940s rhinestone bow brooch or pin is quite large, with clear, foiled-back rhinestones, mostly oval, with some smaller round stones also. The rhinestones are prong- or bezel-set. The silver pot-metal settings have open backs and the brooch is quite heavy. It may have been repaired at one time, with a drop of solder visible only on the back of the pin. This dramatic brooch is in very good condition, with a few slightly yellowed stones and the possible repair as its only issues. It will look fabulous on a dress or on a suit lapel, as well as a coat.
