Vintage 1930's sensational dress and shorts set in a classic blue and white stripe. This is a stunning 2 piece set example from its time and shares an iconic silhouette from sunwear from the era. The set appears to be homemade but very well done. The dress features an aysmetric bodice front panel with short shoulder covers rather than a sleeve, it features a waistband with button front and one small pocket. The skirt is very longline and to the back there is a back pleat near the hem, typical of the era. The shorts are simple in design and feature some darts with a press stud side fastening and decorative matching buttons. This set would be great for summer strolls, seaside days out, lounging by the lido or walks along the Riviera. 

A fabulous piece of fashion history and a great wearable piece for the summer months for any 1930s wearer. A lovely treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

Good Vintage Condition , flaws to note - Some light discolouration to the shorts and the dress. These flaws do not detract from the wearability of the piece. It presents beautifully and is ready to wear.
