Depending on the glass patterns, they are affectionately known by various names, such as Vegetable Beads (Manik Sayur), Lizard Beads (Manik Tokek), and Bird Beads (Manik Burung). The exact production period and origin remain subjects of debate among researchers, which is why the production period is noted as 4th to 19th century. This particular bead is a rare, exceptionally large Javanese bead.
