Forget fancy pants, put on a fancy skirt, with this plisse pleat skirt by Raul Blanco...

As someone with a fashion construction background, let me just tell you this from the start: this is a highly-skilled skirt design! The plisse style pleats are notably difficult to create and the curved yoke at the top hip... it definitely takes some skill to sew a skirt like this (and its done so beautifully too!). The silhouette is fairly straight, with a high waist cut and flounced hem. The base of the skirt is a royal purple, medium weight acetate fabric. The shell fabric is a silk jacquard, featuring a purple floral print on red & green spotted-on-brown ground. The reverse weave in the jacquard shows glimmers of the same flowers. The unique, scallop shape cut away yoke graduates into two elegant tiers of the plisse pleats that swish with every movement. The skirt center back features a nylon zipper and hidden hook + eye closure. The overall condition is near mint, with no flaws to note other than some less than crisp pleats.
