Yes — this sensor is compatible with both carb and FI setups on the 4.0L. The signal output works with either engine management system.

Do I need special tools or an oxygen sensor socket to install this?

An O2 sensor socket (usually $8–12) makes removal and installation much easier, but a regular wrench or socket will work if you're careful not to damage the sensor body. The sensor itself threads straight into the factory boss — no special fasteners.

Can I reuse the old wiring harness?
