Fresh and versatile, the Vintie Overalls feature options making them suitable for both boys and girls. Ruffles on the straps make them sweetly feminine, while straight straps make them great for both girls and boys. The bottom hems can be made straight or with elastic for that “bubble suit” look. Short or long (ankle length) versions are included. The main piece can be joined to the yoke with either gathers or pleats. Enclosed seams on the yokes and optional enclosed seams on the armholes provide a smooth, comfortable finish. Add your own finishing touches, like lace or piping around the yoke and appliqués on the bib. A classic choice for playtime, these overalls’ special features guarantee they will be your child’s favorite for a long time. The adjustable shoulder straps will continue to be comfortable as the child grows. For smaller children, the Vintie Overalls can be made with a snap/button inner leg to make nappy changing easy, while they can also be made without this feature for older children. This multiple-sized pattern includes sizes 0000-4, colour-coded for ease of cutting. It is suitable for the sewing skills of advanced beginners and can be made in any lightweight to medium weight fabric—cotton, light denim, seersucker, linen.
