Vintage 70s Hand Embroidered Blouse, Hippie Boho Blouse, Embroidered Blue on White Ethnic Blouse, Size M to L

Beautifully hand embroidered white cotton blouse. The embroidery is very fine cross stitch and French knot work forming a geometric ethnic design as pictured.

Sourced in San Francisco, this blouse may be Romanian or possibility another Eastern European country of the time.

The primary embroidery color is blue accented with black and some gold and pink. Perfect color of blue to wear with jeans.

The sleeve ends and neckline are accented with blue scalloped blanket stitch embroidery. There is a matched tasseled double string which can be used to adjust the fit of the neckline.

Longer tunic length, dropped shoulders and wrist length sleeves.

Boxy cut with a rounded hemline to wear out or tucked in.

Slips on over the head with no zippers or buttons. Unlined

DESIGNER LABEL: No labels as this is handmade.

SIZING: There are no size tags. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Medium to Large depending on how you like your fit.

This is shown clipped to fit my size XS mannequin and will fall much better on the proper sized body.
