Meet Ophelia, she is a truly remarkable and holy grail rare 1970s dream dress by renowned designer of the time Jean Varon, she is crafted beautifully from polyester chiffon and has a lining to her bodice and skirt. I mean wow.. Ophelia truly is an Heirloom to behold! It is so rare I ever get my hands on a Jean Varon piece like this, they truly are some of the most collectible dresses of the era. Ophelia has a magical silhouette with HUGE billowing sleeves with frill cuffs, a frill  collar and a super floaty skirt. She is adorned in frills and gorgeous black embroidered stripes. Ophelia is the spirit of Heirlooms, she is soft and ethereal but also truly witchy.. She is one of the best pieces in the collection this year and I truly do hope she finds the best home. 

This girl would work on UK sizes 8/10 best, could also possibly work on a UK 6.

The Ophelia has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. Hand wash in cool water and drip dry. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear, including a few minor tiny snags in places, which are unnoticeable and do not detract. These Jean Varon pieces usually retail from at least £250-350, I have reflected her few minor signs of wear in her price. 

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.
