This is a fantastic bright blue suede 80s tailored jacket and skirt set. The Jacket has a pleated peplum lower half, stand collar and structured shoulders. There are 2 sets of 3 buttons with loops at the front and it also comes with a belt. Both the jacket and belt are embellished with beaded appliqué pieces in floral designs. The skirt is a mid length and straight cut (pencil style). It closes with a rear zipper. Both pieces are lined. It really gives a 1940s feel!

CONDITION: Fair 
Extensive discolouration/fade across the shoulders, neckline and down the sleeves of the jacket, as well as the hem and sides of the skirt.  
The belt is also discoloured at the ends. 
There is also underarm discolouration to the lining of the jacket.

Suggestion:
The bottom panel of the skirt could be removed, bringing it to knee length. The sleeves of the jacket could also be removed to create a waistcoat (the beaded appliqué pieces from the sleeves could be moved to the shoulders to camouflage that area more, or to the collar, if desired). The little collar could even be removed also. This would get rid of the worst of the fading and still leave the wonderful pleating and embellishment to enjoy. It is a really great high quality piece looking for the right person to bring it back to life!
