Do I need to remove the entire mirror assembly to swap the glass?

No. The glass is designed to replace into the existing housing without pulling the whole mirror off the door. You'll access it from the back of the mirror housing — takes basic tools and about 15 minutes.

Will the heating element work right away after installation?

Verify the electrical connectors are fully seated and dry before powering on. If heat doesn't engage, trace the connector at the back of the housing — a loose wire is the usual culprit.

What if the glass cracks during installation?

Returns are handled within 30 days of purchase. If defective out of the box, we'll replace it. Damage from installation is on you — handle the edges carefully, they're sharper than the original.
