50s vintage black wool nurse’s cape with small collar, hook / eye at the neck and three button fastenings, bright red lining with black cross over straps that fasten with a button. The lining has been patched in places and there is a frayed section that could be further patched using fabric from the internal pocket. The cape, from Kings Cross Hospital in Dundee, has been in long term storage and would benefit from a dry clean to freshen. Ideal for re-enactment, Goodwood Revival or everyday wear.
