Hikvision's 8 channel DVR is a basic system to start of your camera setup, recommended  home/small businesses. You can connect up to 8 cameras to this Digital Video Recorder. This DVR supports up to 5MP cameras which are compatible with most of the hikvision basic cameras on the market. It has 2 video interface which you can choose from either VGA or HDMI. Please note : This camera has a two way functionality, The first is the infrared red light which is set by default at night, It will come on for night vision but will display a black and white image, On the second function is the smart hybrid white light which can be enabled from the camera option on screen which is the 'PTZ' settings and toggled with the 'IRIS' function using the PTZ controller on screen. Once the white light is enabled, you will get a bright colour image display at night using this function.
