Do I need to have the system evacuated and recharged before installation?

Yes. The AC system must be professionally recovered (by EPA-certified tech) before you remove the old condenser. After installation, have it recharged with the correct refrigerant type and amount per your service manual. You cannot safely do this at home.

Will this come with new O-rings or seals?

The condenser assembly ships without O-rings. Pick up new seals at installation — reusing old ones almost always causes leaks. Your tech will know what size to grab, or check your service manual for the spec.

What if the condenser arrives damaged or fails within the first month?
