Will this interfere with my front bumper sensors?

This reinforcement bar is designed to work behind the bumper fascia without obstructing sensor placement. If your vehicle has factory sensors mounted to the bumper cover, they'll mount normally over this bar.

Do I need to remove the bumper to install this?

Yes. You'll need to drop the front bumper fascia to access the mounting points where the reinforcement bar bolts on. Plan for basic hand tools and a couple hours of work.

Should I paint this before installation?

The bar ships unprimed. Paint it before or after install—both approaches work. If you paint before, use standard automotive primers and topcoats. If after, mask off around the mounting bolts and fasteners.
