The rippling effect seen on the blade is made from a blend of 1095 and 15N20 steel that has been folded together over and over approximately 280-350 times, and has a Rockwell Hardness rating between 54-56 so you know it is made to last. The spine of the blade has a saw back design that carries from the tip to the handle. A Damascus steel guard keeps your hand from slipping off the smooth contoured camel bone handle with brass and leather inserts. The handle is capped with a Damascus pommel. A tooled leather sheath with belt loop comes included, and is embossed with a snakeskin pattern.
