This breathtaking 1950's olive green velvet bolero, embellished with vibrant hot pink floral and rounded domed sequins, is a rare piece to behold and the perfect statement piece to add to your vintage collection. 

The open neckline, sets off the edge to edge cut, which is accented by turned down olive green lapels along either side of the front of the jacket. The simple shoulder line, sets off the short length inset sleeves. The yokes of the jacket, showcase small pockets along either side. The elegant cut, is set off by tailored darts which run up from either side of the front of the hemlines, completing this piece in an iconic 1950's silhouette. This bolero jacket is fully liner in grey silk.

Closures: This jacket has no fastenings

Condition: This jacket is in good but not perfect vintage condition. Gentle and minor sequin loss throughout, this is mainly in the large domed sequins and is only apparent upon closer inspection. Light and natural impressions to the velvet, which is a natural process for velvet. Two sympathetic patch mends along the right hand side armpit and left .These have been done professionally and to restore the item to its original beauty. The silk lining has age marks along the internal armpits, age marks along the nape and an area of discolouration to the lining. These are not apparent as they are to the internal lining. This piece has been professionally mended and restored and the mends are not apparent when the jacket is being worn. 

Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
