Vintage 1960s rose red raw silk two piece peplum jacket and matching flared hem skirt by Marimekko. Pink and red silk woven together for a subtle sharkskin effect when the fabric moves in the light. Collarless jacket with a great fit and tucks that release at the waist to create a flared pouf over the hip. Simple metal buttons run down the front. Matching high waist fitted skirt has the same tucks and gathered flare at the hemline creating a striking silhouette. Closes with hidden side metal zipper.
