Vintage 1940s Black Evening Dress Crinkled Taffeta Sleeveless / M

Divine gown with spaghetti straps, this floor length piece has a straight neckline, a fitted chest that is structured with boning on the interior, a nipped waist and a voluminous skirt. The chest and top of skirt are in crinkled and gathered black rayon while the rest is in shiny, black satin. Note the tiered panel at the top of the skirt and the interesting variation on a rear bow in the form of a pleated, leaf like detail at lower back, center. Closes with a zipper at the side. Unlined.
