The Pin Cushion Kit has everything you need to create two giftable, functional, and utterly loveable hand-embroidered pin cushions for all your sewing projects. This is Rebecca’s favourite embroidery sampler, and it’s easy to see why! Once stitched, you can sew it into two beautiful pincushions to keep your needles organised, or turn them into rather gorgeous pattern weights.

The sampler includes two panels printed onto cotton, ready for you to embroider by hand. The pincushions shown use back stitch and French knots, but you can choose any stitches that suit your style. This kit makes a wonderful gift to share with a fellow stitcher. Will you stitch them together over a cup of tea? Or perhaps finish one and fill it with threaded needles to brighten a friend’s day?

For best results, it’s recommended to back your sampler fabric with a second piece of non-stretchy fabric, such as cotton or linen, before placing it in the hoop. This will help achieve the flattest, most even stitches.
