Nå har Orbea lansert den prisgunstige varianten av sykkelen, utstyrt med aluminiumsramme. Orbea sitt motto for denne serien er mindre E og mer bike. Dette er en stisykkel som ser og føles ut som en stisykkel og ikke en motorsykkel. Lav vekt er det unike ved modellene som veier under 20kg. Orbea har sammen med Shimano utviklet en egen ny og unik motor og batteriløsning. 

Du får opp til 10 timer sykkeltid med range extender batteriet som kan festes i flaskeholderen. Det betyr at uansett hvordan tur du skal ut på – så har du nok batteri i sykkelen til hele turen.

Høydepunkter på den nye Rise:

• Ny motor: Rise drives av den nye Shimano EP601 med Orbeas egen RS-tilpasning.
• Mer rekkevidde: inkluderer et nytt 540Wh-alternativer og du kan kjøpe ekstra batteri (eller flere) for de ekstra lange turene
• Fornyet hovedledd: en stivere og lettere ramme.
• Opprettholder stigeometri og design: 140 mm vandring bak og 150 mm foran.
• Nye oppsett og farger.
• NB! Sykkelen levers uten display. Du styrer motor via kontroller på sytret som har lys-indikatorer som viser styrkenivå, om det er lite batteri etc. Du kan også koble sykkelen til telefonen eller Garmin for å få en mer detaljert fremvisning. Men du kan velge å få sykkelen levert med dedikert display, det blir pristillegg på 2500kr.

Overall I like the Rise for its pedal-bike ride quality that other heavy ebikes just can't offer. It's a well-rounded trail bike that's going to shine in a wide variety of terrain. It's fun, playful, and lively. Just don't plan on going full-bore through world cup rock gardens.

Orbea Rise H30 er sterkere enn de fleste superlett-syklene. Motoren kan sammenlignes med den gamle Shimano E7000. Sykkelen er lettere enn de fleste elektriske stisykler. Og den er godt priset. Orbea Rise H30 er rett og slett en morsom og allsidig stisykkel for alle de som ikke MÅ sykle i “Turbo” og “Boost mode” over alt. Den plasserer seg mellom en superlett-sykkel og en kraftig emtb.

Orbea has tweaked the software to limit maximum torque to 60Nm, plus tuned a more natural feel at optimal cadences of 75 to 90rpm.

The aluminium Rise models use Shimano’s EP6 RS motor, which shares the same power, features and connectivity as the EP801 RS motors on the carbon bikes. 

A significant update is a new battery Orbea has built. Using 21,700 cells, Orbea claims this offers a better charge and discharge ratio, and heat management. The new 360Wh battery is also 300g lighter than the previous Rise battery, with a more compact design.

The frame anchor points are integrated into the battery body, saving a few grams and slightly improving frame weight distribution according to Orbea.
