The rare vintage 2008 Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame prestige champagne is entirely unique, in part due to the vintage but primarily because this particular cuvee includes more Pinot Noir than any other wine in Veuve Clicquot's extensive history. Consequently, 92% of the grapes in La Grande Dame 2008 are Pinot Noir from the Grand Crus A, Ambonnay, Bouzy, Verzy, and Verzenay, while 8% are Chardonnay from Le-Mesnil-sur-Oger.

La Grande dame 2008 has an uncommon level of grace and is full-bodied, strong, and light on its feet.
