Sonar UHM-FD Carbon Mast

For greater glide and quicker turns, the North Ultra High Modulus Carbon Foil Drive Mast is 25% thinner and features a 14% shorter chord length than the AF80 FD Mast. This almost eliminates drag and significantly increases manoeuvrability, so you'll accelerate faster onto foil and experience more efficient glide once you're up.

The UHM Mast features a state-of-the-art monocoque design, with the motor pod seamlessly faired into the mast 18cm from the baseplate - the perfect balance for Assist with the propeller submerged, yet high enough to avoid interference when you’re up on foil. At 80cm ride height, it’s ideal for assisted prone surf and downwind foiling, with minimal battery consumption.
