"Tall & Fat" multi stage analog FET preamp,The Tall & Fat is the premier pedal for clonewheel organ players. Digital organs do a great job of modeling the tonewheel, but fail to capture the dynamic behavior of the tube based AO-28 preamp. That's where the Tall & Fat comes in. When added to a digital organ setup, the Tall & Fat provides the compression, second order harmonics, and dynamic drive characteristics of the famous tube preamp.

It is a three stage FET preamp with gain staging.. The onset of overdrive is gradual and can be easily controlled with the swell pedal. It adds compression and 2nd order harmonics. With it's drive and transparency, it works extremely well when overdriven, even with complex chord shapes.

Like all Lounsberry Pedals it sounds and plays more like an amp than a pedal, bringing to mind the tube driven AO-28 preamp. It is the missing link between your digital keyboard and the analog sound you hear in your brain.

It can easily handle the low notes and sounds awesome with guitar and bass.
