Instead of relying on a mouse and keyboard during critical productions, the unit provides a direct physical interface that mirrors the structure and logic of the software, making live mixing faster, more intuitive and far less error‑prone. Its compact size makes it particularly well suited to small studios, mobile control rooms and OB setups where space is limited but professional operation is still required.

Ten high quality motorised faders form the core of the surface. These follow the active mix automatically, ensuring that what you see and feel always reflects the current state of the show. Above the faders, a large integrated 11.6 inch Full HD touchscreen provides detailed visual feedback, showing channel strips, meters, equalisation curves, dynamics processing and plug‑in interfaces directly under your fingertips. This close integration between physical controls and visual feedback allows multiple parameters to be adjusted simultaneously, which is essential in fast paced live environments.

Connectivity is built for modern broadcast workflows. Dual 10G Ethernet ports support SMPTE‑2110 audio and video networks, allowing the surface to operate natively within IP based production infrastructures. A separate 1G Ethernet control connection is used for computer communication, configuration and software updates, keeping management traffic isolated from time critical media streams. USB‑C connectivity is also provided for straightforward connection to the host system.

The panel includes analogue audio connections for hybrid workflows. A microphone level XLR input, dedicated talkback headset connections, balanced line outputs and dual headphone outputs make it possible to handle monitoring and communication directly from the surface. Power can be supplied via a standard IEC C14 mains connection or a 12 V DC 4‑pin XLR, supporting both fixed installations and mobile use. Fully integrated with Fairlight Live, this surface scales seamlessly from simple productions to demanding broadcast shows without changing the underlying workflow.
