Simpson Strong-Tie DHU3.56/18 DHU® Face-Mount Drywall Hanger for 3-1/2 in. x 18 in. Engineered Wood with SDS Screws (Pack of 10)

Engineered and tested to perform, Simpson Strong-Tie hangers are manufactured to the highest quality standards for structural strength and safety. DHU® face-mount hangers are designed to carry joist floor loads to a wood stud wall over two layers of 5/8-in. gypsum board (drywall). These hangers install after the drywall is in place.

This Simpson product is designed for construction, connector, fastening, anchoring, and structural applications where dependable performance, durability, and jobsite-ready installation matter.

• DHU hangers in widths of 2-1/2 in. or greater may be ordered with one flange concealed
• Available for order skewed up to 45°
• Testing verifies that the DHU hangers do not reduce the two-hour fire wall assembly rating in either 2x4 or 2x6 walls
• DHU fire wall hangers are code listed for structural use under ICC-ES ESR-2552
• Hangers have been tested according to ASTM E814 and received F (flame) and T (temperature) ratings for use on one or both sides of the wall in Intertek Design No. SST/WPCF 120-01
• If hangers are installed on both sides of the wall, then it must be a 2x6 wall
