She sang arias by Dvořák, Puccini, and others beautifully and enlivened the summer evening concert titled "Nacht der Liebe" (Night of Love). The "Last Scene" from R. Strauss' "Capriccio" was especially romantic. And "The Happiness Left to Me" from Korngold's "The City of Death" was lyrical, beautiful, and superbly sung. Ion Marin, an up-and-coming conductor from Romania, conducted.
