The Gyrus ACMI Quadra-Coil® Double Pigtail Ureteral Stent (#5001945) is a variable-length, hydrophilic-coated stent designed for temporary internal drainage from the ureteropelvic junction to the bladder. Its unique Quadra-Coil® design allows the stent to accommodate ureteral lengths from 22 to 28 cm, reducing inventory and simplifying selection. The stent features a double pigtail (curled) configuration at both ends to minimize migration and trigone irritation, and is constructed from advanced Tecoflex® for optimal balance between placement firmness and patient comfort. The ultra-slippery hydrophilic coating ensures smooth insertion and removal, even in challenging anatomy. Spiral drainage holes provide kink resistance and reliable urine flow. Each stent is supplied sterile, single-use, with an attached braided nylon tether and a RAMROD™ metal tip push catheter.
