Description:
The second unaccompanied Bach recording by the great Italian violinist Salvatore Accardo, recorded in 2007! The great Italian violinist Salvatore Accardo's second unaccompanied Bach recording! The impulsive fugue and dreamy adagio are beautifully and purely Bach, with a masterly interpretation, superb technique, and bright, gorgeous tone. The instruments used for Sonatas Nos. 1-3 and Partita No. 3 are Stradivarius "Hart" (1727), and the rest are Mazzini "Giorgio III°" (1620), allowing the listener to enjoy the differences in instruments as well as the differences in expression. The recording was made by Giulio Cesare Ricci, who has known Accardo for over 25 years, in a medium-sized Italian church with excellent acoustics, using the legendary Neumann U47, U48, and M49 microphones, and mastered with the Signorich system, which is a selling point for the FONE label. The mastering was done using the Signorich system that is the selling point of the FONE label. No editing was done, so all tracks can be heard in their natural state as they were performed.
