Tasting Note

This fine Spätlese enchants with its long-lasting tropical notes. The scent of pineapple, passion fruit, and vineyard peach are present in the nose. The taste, which captivates with its elegance, is reminiscent of ripe yellow stone fruit and pineapple. A developed acidity gives the Riesling its animating freshness. Very long, invigorating finish.

Producer

The Zilliken family have a winemaking history back to 1742, and have become one of the grandest family owned estates. Founded by Ferdinand Geltz, his two daughters inherited the company, and then it was passed on to his granddaughter, Marianne. She then married Fritz Zilliken and the family still own the company today.
